For thousands of years and up to the present, there have existed in cave drawings and paintings, totem poles, stories passed down through the generations verbally, newspaper articles, books, movies and TV shows, numerous accounts of the bi-pedal creature famously known as Bigfoot, Sqaquatch, Yeti, Yeren, Yowie, The Wild Man and many more names.

Many of these accounts and stories over time, has been relegated to the pages of myth, legend and the ramblings of crazy people. When did we forget? When did facts become myth and legend and why? Who are responsible for this? Who are the people that get to decide what is real or not? Why the blatant cover up?

While still processing all this and constantly comparing eye witness accounts, and encounters from all over the world, and throughout history, it has become quite clear which are true and which are false, without having to waste precious time on detailed analysis on all of them. Yet the mantra is constantly repeated; "Bigfoot is not real, it does not exist, much less in the Americas. Forget all that nonsense about land bridges and migration routes and all that jazz.

This controversial study has indeed caused quite a stir among Bigfoot enthusiasts and researchers over the past five years since it's inception.

 

 I swear I didn't give anyone any samples from me nor did they use me as a control sample source

Some people in the Bigfoot community are per-maturely celebrating what they say is new scientific proof that Sasquatch exists. But based on what exactly? A five-year genetic study funded by Bigfoot-believing businessman Adrian Erickson? The Sasquatch Genome Project, lead by Melba Ketchum, claims to have sequenced three complete nuclear genomes of the legendary beast and found it is a new type of hominin hybrid that arose approximately 15,000 years ago.

Although this can be considered to be quite exciting news to the average person who do not fully understand the history and science behind this creature and this study, many samples were submitted for DNA testing in this project by researchers from all across the country and for the past 5 years, these alleged samples have undergone many tests by a few DNA labs. But for the samples that came back as known, dog, bear, coyote, skunk, deer, Moose, or even human; there WERE samples that came back as unknown and were classified as contaminated.

For carefully controlled samples that came back as unknown, not contaminated, what source did they use to compare and confirm that the sample did indeed come from a real Sasquatch in the first place???


“Our study has sequenced 20 whole mitochondrial genomes and utilized next generation sequencing to obtain 3 whole nuclear genomes from purported Sasquatch samples. The genome sequencing shows that Sasquatch mtDNA is identical to modern Homo sapiens, but Sasquatch nuDNA is a novel, unknown hominin related to Homo sapiens and other primate species,” the group said in a press release.

At a news conference held Tuesday in Dallas, Texas, the researchers shared “never before seen HD video” of a furry, “reddish-brown Sasquatch specimen” snoozing in the Kentucky woods. Not suprisingly, the video has gone viral.

“People have chosen not to believe it,” Erickson told CBS Dallas-Fort Worth. “They can’t find it in their minds to think these things exist.” Erickson spend $500,000 on the study.

According to lead researcher Melba Ketchum, a veterinarian and genetics scientist, her team sent various samples of hair, blood, saliva, and skin, to multiple labs around the U.S., including to New York University (NYU), UT Southwestern, and the North Louisisana Crime Lab to be tested.
“We want people to understand this is a serious study” Ketchum told CBS.

The trouble is, a representative from NYU told the New York Daily News that the university has never had dealings with Ketchum or accepted any data or samples from the Sasquatch Genome Project.
And the NYU statement isn’t the only challenge to Ketchum’s credibility. The Louisiana crime lab told the Daily News that while scientists there extracted some DNA from bones she sent them, she sent the sample for analysis elsewhere.

Another problem is that the Sasquatch Genome Project has yet to provide any credible substantiation of its claims, although Ketchum’s team said on their website that scientific journals have refused to publish their findings because “mainstream science just can’t seem to tolerate something controversial.”

But Todd R. Disotell, an NYU professor of anthropology, told UPI that Ketchum’s claims are “just a joke” and nothing more than “junk science.”
“This was not reported in any scientific way whatsoever,” Disotell said. “It’s complete junk science, and then she misinterprets it. She hasn’t published in peer-reviewed papers on this stuff. I don’t know how this got put together.”

Rick Dyer invites Tim Fasano to the party in Las Vegas

Last evening, prior to the show, Rick Dyer spoke with Tim Fasano by phone and invited him to come to the PPV party at Dyer's expense, on Decemver 12, 2013 and Fasano has accepted to offer.

Rick Dyer and Team Tracker along with other special guests will be there, including Derek Randles of The Olympic Project. It's still a couple of months to the party so let's see who else will be invited.

Fasano is quoted as saying:

Sasquatch/Yeti killed in avalanche in Tibet

I recently came across a photo that has apparently been around for years, yet I have never seen it until now. I was intrigued and wanted to learn more about it. What was I looking at? Where did it come from? Who took it? I wanted to find out, not just for me, but for others who had never seen the photo, or who had but didn't know the back story either.

I started digging, searching around the internet, and finally found some information. The picture is of a supposed Sasquatch/Yeti that was killed in an avalanche somewhere in Tibet, (or Europe, depending on who's doing the telling) and then found it's way to a fair in France, where it was displayed on ice in 1997. It was known as "The Yeti of Bourganeuf", named after the town in France where the fair took place.

An investigator named Christian Le Noel saw the display and wanted to find out more about it. He was told, by the man displaying the Yeti, that Tibetan Monks found it in an avalanche, and that they then had to hide the body in a well from the Chinese Army. Apparently the army found it anyway, and quickly took possesion of it. The Army later decided to display the body, for a time, in Shanghai.

Noel was then told that after Shanghai, the body somehow made its way to East Germany, where it was part of a state run fair. The fair eventually went bankrupt after the collapse of the communist bloc. After that the body traveled from Germany to France, where Noel would see it and begin his investigation.

When Noel pressed for more information, asking to possibly talk to others who had possession of the creature, he was told that because the body was so similar to a human's that whoever owned it, or even came in contact with it, would refuse to talk to him, afraid of the legal consequences. Or at the very least, bad luck. 

After pressing even further, Noel was dismayed to find that both the body and its owner had disappeared. And that was the end of the story until over a year later, when a man came forward to the journal "Cryptozoologia" saying he was the sculpter of the corpse in question.

The “Yeti de Bourganeuf”, trickery was admitted by the creator, done to honor Bernard Heuvelmans and his dealing with the Minnesota Iceman. It is a sculpture by artist Emannuel Casteels Janssen, and was manufactured to showcase Janssen’s skill.

My friend and associate from France, Michel Raynal wrote of this:

In 1997, what looked like a new version of the affair of the frozen man (this cadaver of a frozen hairy man shown in the US fairs, which Bernard Heuvelmans was able to study in 1968) occurred… in France ! It was indeed a hoax, and amusingly, our Belgish friends of the ABEPAR (which publishes the journal Cryptozoologia) are (involuntarily) responsible. 

Emmanuel Casteels Janssen, animal sculptor and a collaborator of the magazine, relates in the June to August 1998 issue of Cryptozoologia that two friends of his, have helped people who wanted to make a giant copy of Bernard Heuvelmans’s frozen man: "In fact, it was a sculpture made with sponge rubber on which hairs of horse tail have been pasted. The eyes have been simply bought from a provider specialized in taxidermy."

So, the intriguing photo also has an exciting history, one of course steeped in trickery. That is
exactly what I'd expected to find. After all, anyone can hoax a Bigfoot photo, but it takes an artist to make a
good fake. And an artist to come up with a detailed back story. And because of the quality there are still people who believe this story is real and these photographs genuine.

This story whether true or false, based on this account, now resides in the fictional section of  History, myth and folklore along with the likes of "the Minnesota Iceman", (which surprisingly, this year,  has re-surfaced again, although a fake) and "Patty" from the famous "Patterson/Gimlin Film" (still not officially decided one way or the other but with more evidence leading to it all being a hoax) just to mention a few.

Some of these and other similar accounts may have started out as being true but over the years have now become listed as a hoax, myth or urban legend. There is one story that started out as a hoax but over the years, it has ended with a true encounter. On September 06, 2012, in San Antonio, TX, a man by the name of Rick Dyer did track, shoot and kill a Bigfoot which frequented the encampment of some homeless people in that area and was successful in retaining the body for scientific study.

Bigfoot News was covered by every news outlet in the country on Oct.1, 2013. They reported that Bigfoot is REAL!

Well, the truth is... Bigfoot is REAL! But, the sources that are bringing the evidence to the world of Bigfoot have fallen short in presenting REAL evidence. Who in the hell at ABC News would look at a video presented by “The Erickson Project” and say “Holy cow! That’s a BIGFOOT! “But, don’t take my word for it. See for yourself.

You still think it’s a Bigfoot? 

The only people who have presented evidence of a REAL Bigfoot are Todd Standing and Rick Dyer! They have shown the BEST evidence to the Bigfoot community and the world of the existence of Bigfoot and they have been castrated for it!

Why? You ask. Because it’s REAL! A lot of people involved in Bigfoot would loose a lot of money if anyone had true evidence of one. Namely all the TV shows out there. One that come’s to mind is “Finding Bigfoot”. Well, what are they going to call it now? “Found Bigfoot”? The Bigfoot community bashes Todd Standing and Rick Dyer because they know they have PROOF! 

And who is the most hated person in the Bigfoot community? You got it, Rick Dyer.  He is the last person they want to have represent and forever more be attached to Bigfoot! Soon, you won't be able to say Bigfoot, with out mentioning Rick Dyer. It's coming. Start Believing.

How I changed from “Skeptic” to “Believer”

I think for everyone who believes in Rick Dyer, did so by first watching “The Tent Video” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ucxx3-gLAVU  

Before I get into this, I just want to make it clear that these are my views and opinions and are not those of Team Tracker or Rick Dyer.

I never believed in the existence of Bigfoot before this year.  To me, I put Bigfoot in the same category with Vampires, Werewolves and the Tooth Fairy!

Believe me, this was very hard for me to say the words, “Bigfoot is REAL!” Let alone trying to convince other people that it is. So, I’ll try to break down on why I’m convinced and believe that Rick Dyer has a REAL Bigfoot.

1.     I watched “The Tent video” and was intrigued.  I was saying to myself “if that is a costume, it’s the best one out there!” Still not totally convinced one way or the other, but this video kept coming up.

2.     FBFB did a break down of the footage.  I thought they did a damn good job. They asked the right questions and dissected the video in a manner that satisfied my curiosity.  But, still I’m not fully convinced one way or the other.  

3.     This video keeps popping up on my “recommended” videos on YouTube. Now Rick Dyer claims ownership of it and breaks it down himself. Now this video has my full attention.  Now I have questions.  

4.     Who is Rick Dyer? Ok, he was involved in the 2008 hoax that got national attention, so why hoax again? Who is going to believe it? Why even try?      

5.     I research who Rick Dyer is, where this took place and found out that he was with Minnow Films shooting a documentary about Bigfoot Trackers with Morgan Matthews.

6.     Who is Morgan Matthews? Morgan Matthews is an English, BAFTA award winning documentary director. He is the founder of Minnow Films and has been directing documentaries for over ten years. 

Matthew's early work includes the BAFTA, RTS and Grierson nominated Taxidermy: Stuff the World, the RTS nominated Channel 4 series My Crazy Parents and the feature length Beautiful Young Minds which was also BAFTA, RTS and Grierson nominated.

In 2006 he founded Minnow Films, starting his work with the company with the Grierson nominated film Battleship Antarctica for Channel 4. He then went on to make The Fallen, a three-hour film for BBC2 remembering every British serviceman and woman killed in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. The film was named best single documentary of 2008 at the RTS awards and won two BAFTAs including Best Factual Director.

Whilst executive producing at Minnow Films, Matthew's continues to direct his own films with the company including the BAFTA nominated Scenes from a Teenage Killing, chronicling every teenager who died as a result of violence in the UK over one year. Matthew's also executive produced the RTS nominated Minnow Films' series Fighting on the Frontline for Channel 4, which embedded three directors with British troops in Afghanistan.

Most recently, Morgan has been working with Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald, directing the Britain in a Day project for the BBC Two and is now moving onto his next documentary, a proposed theatrical co-production between BBC Storyville and the BFI. The BFI and BBC Films are also working with Matthews on a feature film X Plus Y inspired by his documentary Beautiful Young Minds.

1. 1.    Would Morgan Matthews, an award winning film maker, be involved in a hoax? Would he ruin his and Minnow Films reputation for the sake of making a few dollars on a Bigfoot Documentary? I really don’t think so.

1. 2.     What is the definition of “Documentary”?  doc·u·men·ta·ry (dky-mnt-r) adj. 1. Consisting of, concerning, or based on documents. 2. Presenting facts objectively without editorializing or inserting fictional matter, as in a book or film. A work, such as a film or television program, presenting political, social, or historical subject matter in a factual and informative manner and often consisting of actual news films or interviews accompanied by narration. 

1. 3.    How do you have a title like “Shooting Bigfoot” for a documentary? In interviews with Morgan Matthews, this documentary was suppose to be about why grown and intelligent men would dedicated their lives in the search a mythical creature?

1. 4.    Where did the “Shooting” in “Shooting Bigfoot” come from? Maybe because there was a SHOOTING!!!

1. 5.    It doesn’t make sense that Rick Dyer would be promoting films called “After the shot” and “The Autopsy”. And saying he would give your money back plus $100.00 if these videos didn’t show a REAL dead Bigfoot. He’d have so many law suits against him; the money made wouldn’t be able to cover his attorney cost.

1. 6.    Why put all of your time and money into a tour?  Buy vehicles, let’s say a trailer for “Hank” a tour bus for the crew, a diesel truck to hall the trailer, get them all custom wrapped. Plan a tour; get all the permits for each state. Then, let people get up close and personal with “Hank”? Who is going to spend that kind of money to perpetrate a HOAX?

1. 7.    Don’t you think the first time someone see’s “Hank”, they are going to be able to tell if it’s real or not? Do you think Rick Dyer has access and the money to make a costume that will fool us all?

1. 8.    Then, what about the videos? Don’t you think the first time you see “After the shot”, you won’t be able to tell if what you are seeing is REAL or not? And what about “The Autopsy” video? Did he call the guys from the “Alien Autopsy” and say “Hey, I’m trying to do an autopsy video on a Bigfoot, what do you think? Can you help me out?”

 

I really could go on an on. But I think by now you get where I’m coming from. Rick Dyer has a REAL Bigfoot. Get use to it. And to all the HATERS, bring the best you’ve got, because you only have a couple more months before this comes out. I’ll enjoy reading what you all have to say. But, I’ll be one of the first one’s to say…. Well, I’m not going to say anything. I’ll just sit back and enjoy the show!
