Statement Regarding The Upcoming Body Viewing

Last Sunday, several members of my team were thrilled to learn that a path had been cleared for them to see Hank’s body this weekend. This news has stirred a great deal of excitement both inside and outside of Team Tracker, so I wanted to answer some of the questions that have come up since Sunday night’s show.

Why are the ones who were on Sunday’s show the only ones going to see Hank? What about the others?

In order to protect the safety and privacy of my Team Members, I will not confirm who is or is not attending during this first viewing opportunity. I will say that we are working to adjust the roster (and manage ticketing issues) if necessary due to resulting schedule complications that arose when certain individuals returned to work on Monday after presuming they could be available on such short notice.

Can you show us the plane tickets?

When Musky Allen saw the body in February, we were extremely concerned that his travel would be tracked and that we would be followed, so we planned and acted accordingly. As attention has grown, those issues now require even greater consideration, and I am particularly concerned for the safety, privacy, and well-being of my Team members. For these reasons, we have worked out a non-traditional travel plan, and the exact arrival points, travel times, and the actual schedule for viewing the body are all being closely held and will not be shared before or after the viewing. Private events for my team members are not meant to provide additional proof or verification to anyone else, which was the intention with Musky’s visit.

Will they be able to talk about what they saw?

For their own protection, all Team Tracker members have now signed an electronic non-disclosure agreement that is more encompassing than Musky’s and covers all contact related to my shooting of the Bigfoot and any subsequent events or discussions. Because it is more of a blanket document than Musky’s, it is far shorter and simpler in its structure. It remains in effect until a designated event releases them from its restrictions. Not only will they not be able to share what they have seen, but they also will not be able to comment on whether they or anyone else has seen the body.

Will the reporters be able to print and publish stories right after they view the body?

It has been the practice since the original interment of the body for any invited news organizations and their representing journalists and crew members to agree to withhold all reporting on the matter until a news embargo has been lifted. All experiences will remain completely off-the-record until journalists are released to share them.

Why are you doing this?

My team members, all of whom have acted faithfully and honorably, deserve the earliest opportunity to see the body that I can provide. We are just two months from the original unveiling date, and I continue to be informed of plans to move the date much closer, which is why I am fast-tracking efforts to get my team in to see the body, as sudden and inconvenient as it may be for many of them.

Because of this weekend’s events, any radio shows that I am able to broadcast will not include Team Tracker members in the Google Hangouts portion, with the possible exception of Sunday’s show. However, it remains possible that I will not be able to broadcast at all this weekend. I will know more as the week progresses and share as much information as I possibly can.

Be assured that I also am working on exciting plans to release information outside of my immediate group, and those will be announced very soon.

Just curious, how much did Rick charge you for your plane tickets with 'special' travel security considerations? Any of you unlucky cult members care to comment?

I hate to say it, but as a gold member this looks very fishy even to me. I didn't know about the number of Ricks hoaxes were more than 2008 till just now. I also didn't know about all the times he has been arrested since then for being a con-man. Now I feel stupid and ripped off.

$900

Live and learn brother, you're critical thinking skills should be sharpened after this unfortunate event.

Also, FUCK YOU RICK DYER!

Mata-Hari said...

Well, if you are smart- I HIGHLY suggest you contact paypal immediately claiming your account password was hacked and someone just spent $900 on it so you guys can get your money back. Otherwise I guaruntee you will never see Rick or your money again. I feel sorry for you guys- I know you want to believe so bad, but Rick really is pulling the big on here before taking off. Listen to all of us- its better than losing $900 to a con man. Trust me you will never see Rick again if you go through with this, and you will be stuck in Vegas for a weekend feeling really really silly.
I am a member myself; however, I wised up a while back to the fact that Rick is pulling a fast one. Don't listen to hundreds of people in your own community at your own peril.

Bigfeet said...

So it got out- Rick charged $900 for a special 'security' travel ticket to Las Vegas. At least that's what he's calling it. A flight from anywhere in America to Vegas is usually $200-$300. There are about 10 of you going so that's $9000. Assuming Rick actually sent you real tickets he likely spent $2000. That means Dyer made a tidy tax-free profit of $7000.
THERE IS A REASON he is doing this the week before the 'expedition'. Its because:

1. Rick has zero chance of showing up at the expedition and wants to get as much from people as possible before running.

2. Its well known that Rick has been planning his move from Vegas for the last few weeks, and this is his final goodbye before he leaves for Mexico.

I EMPLORE YOU PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT 'special plane tickets' from Rick: Do whatever you can IMMEDIATELY with paypal to get your refunds. Claim your account was hacked. If more than one of you do it, it will get refunded and Rick might actually get charged with fraud (again). Ricks been arrested so many times for fraud its not even funny.
Why do you think he was trying to sell his furniture?
Why do you think his camera is no longer showing his 'home' in the background? (he's moved)
Why do you think Rick had you send him the money instead of you buying your plane tickets yourself?
Why do you think Rick charged $900 for a $250 plane ticket to Vegas?
Why do you think he is doing this the weekend before the expedition?
Why do you think he says he has the power to actually apply a "press embargo"?
Why do you think Rick said he might be away for a while?
Why do you think Rick is allowing comments on his website finally?
Why do you think Rick only has 'free websites' when if he had a million dollar bigfoot body he would be using a professional website backed by his 'investors'.

THINK ABOUT IT PEOPLE, GET YOUR MONEY BACK NOW AND YOU WILL THANK US LATER. WE TOLD YOU HOW TO DO IT.

WE ARENT BEING HATERS, WE ARE SMART PEOPLE THAT HAVE FIGURED THIS OUT.

Gendry said...

Imagine all 10 of those people who are going to be in Las Vegas on Friday waiting for Rick at the airport or wherever.
Why do you think Rick suggested that you get some hookers when you arrive (from his radio show). Its because you are going to be stuck in Vegas for the weekend with nothing to do...

Brian Folmer said...

Don't you think its fishy that with all the 'top secret' security clearance Rick is saying people need that he magically allowed the guy who did the wrap on his vehicle to see the 'alleged body'?

This is a terrible con, and you people at the end are getting the worst of it. I just can't believe that you let him take your money AGAIN at the end of this ridiculous hoax. I mean a bigfoot in San Antonio? That's ridiculous in itself. The last place a bigfoot is going to be is running around Texas lol.

Mike Davis said...

If any of you actually saw the movie Shooting Bigfoot you would VERY QUICKLY realize the movie is about the strange world of Bigfoot hoaxes and the hoaxers. This is eluded to throughout the movie. Its why FBFB closed down immediately after seeing the movie.
They realized they were taken by Dyer's hoax.

The movie is not about shooting a real Bigfoot. Rick was so desperate to get footage for Morgan Mathews in San Antonio that Rick cut that homeless guys dogs throat to make it look like a bigfoot attacked it. The vet that saw the dog said it was a knife cut.
As for Morgan Mathews, he was literally punched out by a homeless guy in a bigfoot outfit that Rick hired. Rick thought it would make it more realistic, but if you see the movie its well eluded to that its a hoax, and Morgan even says that "it could have very well been someone in a costume"

Kevan Lanister said...

So Rick Dyer is finally gone at least. He wont be back anytime soon, well maybe 2020 or something after everyone forgets.

Anonymous said...

Someone better record all of Dyers youtube videos and screencap his websites because he will take all of that offline soon to cover his ass.

Jackson P said...

See you later Rick Dyer, don't let the door hit you on the way out. He is gone for good I am sure now.

Martin Freemon said...

I heard Rick was moving- he told me that he was just moving to a bigger house in Vegas though. Guess that's a lie too. I guess he went to Mexico?

Bigfeet said...

Rick usually leaves to his wifes family's home in Mexico after a big hoax for about 6 months, or until the heat stops. He has been doing this for years now. Ever since he started the EBAY con selling the cars. He got arrested twice on that one, but he doesn't seem to think he will get extradited from Mexico.

Rick said he lived at 3611 Elegant Saint Court, but the house is up for sale right now...so ya I guess he actually did move lol.

My wife is a real estate agent and has access to when houses were sold- cutting and pasting:

He just sold it a little over a month ago. This is probably why he was giving out his home address on his radio show.....because he was about to move!

Mata-Hari said...

Well you people who bought those special tickets from Rick- you cant say we didn't warn you. Just about every bigfoot site on the net put up a Fraud Alert for Rick Dyer....

The majority knew this, and somehow you guys gave him your money anyways!

Bigfeet said...

Are there any people that bought tickets from Rick working to get your money back right now? Perhaps if you update in comments here the others will be inclined to try to get their money back also. You may not be able to, but like it was mentioned above if you claim someone hacked your account and spent $900, you might get it back.

I wonder what Morgan Mathews thinks after seeing all the crazy shit Rick did to make this hoax a reality for some people, and for his movie about hoaxers? he probably thinks Rick Dyer is a psychopath. I mean he HAD to be nervous about going into the bush with Rick when he had a gun. The funny thing is, is that if you watch Ricks last video- especially that last 30 minute one- you can just tell he is lying and he KNEW that was the very last time he would be on his video show on the internet for Bigfoot. You could tell part of his conscience wanted to say goodbye or something, but he didn't.

Anonymous said...

The funny thing is, is that the people who got scammed the worst and are the fools aboard Ricks 'ship of fools' all have their faces and names plastered all over the internet for eternity looking like dumbasses knowing that they were recorded all the way to the very end of the hoax. Here are some of the fools:

Tim Fasano
Tom Stickle 'stickfoot'
Chris Sands

Those are some of the fools Rick mentioned were going to the body.

Brock P said...

Rick moved!! I just checked out those websites and his house recently just sold- you weren't shitting! Guess that sums everything up. I wonder if he has left his house already or not? It looks like he may have according to his recent video broadcast.

If I met Rick in real life I would LOVE to punch him in the face. Imagine how many people are going to be going after him after this fraud.

hhahaha, Rick, I do not know if you have a BF body. But you are certainly right: your haters are males who have not fucked a decent pussy in ages (well, probably not in their whole lives!!) !!!! Hit them hard into their ugly faces, Rick!!! They deserve no better - NOW I really hope you have a bigfoot!!! Just because this would make their little lives EVEN WORSE..
Best of all: They do not understand WHY you publish their ridiculous comments at all instead of just throwing them into the dustbin, where they belong, and where they would not disturb your alleged hoax business. For so much foolishness they deserve even more punishment. OK, folks, why do you think would Dyer publish your comments??? Mmmm, what do you think????!!!

Bigfeet,
What world do you live in?
NY to Vegas for Friday to Sunday is not 200-300.
Try again.
500-1600 depending on what class. 900 is close to the Main Cabin select or first class.
Do you know where all these people are flying from?
Do you know what class they are flying in on?
Seriously you and Mat-hari love to make stuff up.

"Why do you think he says he has the power to actually apply a "press embargo"?"
In journalism and public relations, a news embargo or press embargo is a request by a source that the information or news provided by that source not be published until a certain date or certain conditions have been met. The understanding is that if the embargo is broken by reporting before then, the source will retaliate by restricting access to further information by that journalist or his publication, giving them a long-term disadvantage relative to more cooperative outlets. They are often used by businesses making a product announcement, by medical journals, and by government officials announcing policy initiatives; the media is given advance knowledge of details being held secret so that reports can be prepared to coincide with the announcement date and yet still meet press time. In theory, press embargoes reduce inaccuracy in the reporting of breaking stories by reducing the incentive for journalists to cut corners in hopes of "scooping" the competition.

In theory, press embargoes reduce inaccuracy in the reporting of breaking stories by reducing the incentive for journalists to cut corners in hopes of "scooping" the competition.
Embargoes are usually arranged in advance as "gentlemen's agreements." However, sometimes publicists will send embargoed press releases to newsrooms unsolicited in hopes that they will respect the embargo date without having first agreed to do so — the phrase "For Immediate Release" often found at the top of press releases indicates that the information in the release is not embargoed.
News organizations sometimes break embargoes and report information before the embargo expires, either accidentally (due to miscommunication in the newsroom) or intentionally (to get the jump on their competitors). Breaking an embargo is typically considered a serious breach of trust and can result in the source barring the offending news outlet from receiving advance information for a long period of time.
News embargoes are one of several ways a source can influence media presentation of the information they provide; others include providing information "on background" or "not for attribution," limiting or providing "access," or even direct government or market intervention against the reporters or media company. (See confidentiality terminology in journalism for a full discussion of these.) The manner in which journalists react to these and other attempts to influence coverage are a matter of journalistic ethics.

For all you people who don't understand News Embargo's. Read up and catch a clue. Its very common to do this. But you Brainiac's can't take the simple time to look stuff up.

I have to agree with this.
These people don't really get that they will be made to look like foolish if this is all true.
But i suspect they will just try to turn around on Rick that "how could he do such a thing" He will then be hated for Baiting one and Killing it.
They will not give Rick any quarter. The will just turn the hate to another reason against Rick.
If you also notice they all use anonymous or fake names.

Mata-Hari,

So if these people go and they are not stuck in Vegas with out Rick will you apologize on the Blog here that you were wrong and that Rick didn't run out on them? Or go to Mexico?

Next time you might want to pay attention.
Rick said he already Moved from his old house a while back.
He is having a new home built and it wasn't ready to move in yet.
So he is living in an undisclosed place until his new home is ready that is in Vegas. not Mexico.
Seriously you people love making stuff up to fill your fantasies with.

If the people make it to Vegas and Rick is there then your all wrong.

Will you apologize to Rick for stating he was scamming them when your proven wrong?

Scott Johnson said...

Cathie...I think you need to open your eyes to what is going on around you. I have been following this story for a long time and I have come to the final conclusions...either it's a hoax or Rick is a complete moronic douchebag (and if the first is true then he is likely both).

You made a comment earlier in this post about why is Rick treated different than Finding Bigfoot, BFRO, etc. The reason why Rick is treated this way is because he is taking people's hard-earned money, whereas these others do not (at least not overtly). The biggest red flag to me was his pricing model for his "memberships".

In the beginning, Rick had two levels of membership, Silver and Gold, sold for $5 and $19.99 (or something like that) early on. Shortly after "Shooting Bigfoot" was set to be released he made promises of adding some new "unseen footage" and the prices of these memberships went to $29.99 (Silver) and $79.99 (Gold). Then after the film was released Rick introduced a 3rd membership level, Platinum, and charged $199 for this elite stature. He also started to make claims of allowing visitation rights, etc. to encourage people to upgrade. The next sequence of events had him remove the Silver option altogether. Then he increased the Gold and Platinum fees by $100 each, and then finally reduced them again...all of this over the course of a few weeks.

This type of price fluctuation is crazy and to me screams that Rick was taking advantage of the inelastic nature of his product (at least to his hard core followers) to drive his revenue up. Now, this in itself, is not proof of a hoax, just proof that he's a moronic douchebag (as stated above).

Assuming that his story is true, Mr. Dyer will be rolling in the dough, and again assuming that his story about having some investors lined up and NDAs in place, then he will have likely been paid some form of deposit of promissory note to prevent him from continue to peddle the body. If this is the case then why would he need to squeeze out a few extra hundred grand (likely a drop in the bucket if his story holds true)from his hardcore believers? Why would he spend so much effort monitoring and adjusting his price point to ensure that he is able to get every last penny?

Then there's the bit about his book...why would he self-peddle his crappy book through the Amazon e-format for $5. If this was a true story he would have top-level publishers paying big bucks to push this through standard book release formats (hard cover, then soft cover and e-book). Again, none of this points to a hoax just that he's a moronic douchebag.

One last thing, I have heard that he sold his house and that he is "building a new one". Now again, I'm not saying that he's not actually building a house, I'm just saying that it's a pretty simple story to pitch to people with blinders on. Just be careful how much money you send this guy, because he either doesn't need it (in the case the story is true) or you're be scammed!

keep sending rick money fools

Cathiee McMillan said...

Scott,
So you think people didn't know what they were signing up for?
See you make it sound like "RICK" twisted peoples arms to give him money for the memberships. He did no such thing.
He has provided everything that he said about the memberships. You may not like what he gave. But that is not the point. Has any of the members taken him up on the Reduced price on his DVDs or his outings yet?

Amazon.
You are really not to bright about that are you?
Many Well know authors and books start out as Self Published e-pubs on Amazon. Its very common now these days. But apparently you don't work or know anything about book publishing. I do I work in the business. Epubs are easy to make and easy to sell on amazon and Itunes, booksmash and others. I am sure If the bigfoot is shown to be real. Then publishers will be knocking on his door to tell his story in more detail.

I have been following it too. You just see it different than I do.
In your post you leave alot of well it could be trues. So your not even sure.

No Cathiee. The people who doubt wont look like fools. They will look like critical thinking people who through observation of everything there is to know at this current time, believe all evidence leads to another hoax. You and those that have not doubted Rick's story or even questioned it however look foolish right now even if there is more to come. You believe Rick why? Because you want to believe. Using wanting to believe in something as a cog in your conclusions shows you are not capable of critical thinking. Once again we will never be, to use your words "made to look foolish". We are not people who leap before we look. If rick has a bigfoot, I will simply be wrong. You on the other hand if Rick does not have a bigfoot will be a fool for believing with your eyes wide shut.

Anonymous said...

No he didn't twist peoples arms, he had a small army of fools sign up of free will. Funny for the best bigfoot tracker in the world and the guy that enlightens the world to the existence of Sasquatch, he really has a very small following. He only has 161 likes on his Facebook page. That is practically no one.
Many well known authors start out as self published Ebooks?? Not true. Anyone can self publish and like you say easy to make on Amazon. Easy to sell??? not by a long shot. Well known authors sell hundreds of thousands of copies and even millions. Self publishers sit at under a hundred for years if not forever. I would wager that Rick has sold less than 30 copies and those are all to his cronies and loyal zombie following. If a body is never produced, it will stay at that low number indefinitely.

Scott Johnson said...

Thanks to the Anonymous poster for beating me to the punch. The point is that all of Rick's decisions have been highly motivated by the opportunity to squeeze whatever extra money he can from his followers. This is why they are called Confidence Men (aka Con Men), because they rob you by gaining your trust and confidence, and not by "twisting" their arms (as you have suggested). Rick Dyer is not the first, nor will he be the last, of this breed of scumbag. As for the book publishing, please provide the name of one NON-FICTION author that has become a success following this approach...especially with the magnitude of story that Rick claims he has. This is where I qualify my moronic label if his story indeed turns out to be true.

Why bring in Musky and a bunch of other no names when he could bring in a top name publisher under the same conditions and have a world book launch on the same day he "displays" the body to the public? (On that note does nobody else think it's weird that he can provide detailed written descriptions of Hank in the public domain under the guise of his book, but yet the media is under some embargo...there go those alarm bells again)

A top-level book publisher would have the facilities to market his message, as well as translate it into multiple languages as this truly should be considered the scientific find of the century...or at least zoological find, and deserves to be heard across the globe...IF IT IS TRUE!

At this point, all his actions scream con to me but I am humble enough to admit that perhaps he is simply a moronic douchebag. It sounds like you're convinced that this is all he is, whereas I tend to believe that he has quite a heavy mix of narcissistic scumbag thrown in as well.

P.S. If you work in the book publishing business then I hope to god that you are not an editor. Your grammar leaves a lot to be desired. As you point out I "am not to bright" (I'm sure you meant 'too' bright), so what do I know, but if you had my Grade 5 son proofread your posts he may be able to prevent further embarrassment on your part.
