Congratulations to all the nominees for the “2012 Bigfoot Field Researcher of the Year.”
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) December 13, 2012

Facebook/FindBigfoot (FB/FB) announces its nominees for the “2012 Bigfoot Field Researcher of the Year” award.
Bigfoot research has made great leaps forward in 2012 with two efforts to sequence DNA study. FB/FB, the social network for Bigfoot research, predicts 2013 to be an even better year.
In 2012, seven videos broke into the Top 50 authenticated Bigfoot Videos list. Working in deep forests, Field Researchers filmed the #2, #5, #19 videos of all time. Researchers found Bigfoot tracks in Oregon, Florida and Washington and the longest ever found in southern Ontario. This has been the best year ever for Bigfoot research.
Here are the nominees for the “2012 Bigfoot Field Researcher of the Year” based on their overall contributions to Bigfoot researcher:
Jerry Trips, (anonymous researcher) for finding and documenting the 3.5 mile trackway in southern Ontario (longest tracks ever recorded). Trips’ researched showed that Bigfoot walk sideways on downed trees, hiding tracks, circling their lair. Jerry is an anonymous researcher from Minnesota.
Chris Noel, a Yale educated author of a number of Bigfoot field research books. Noel helped educate the public on Bigfoot habituation sites and the strategic nature of Bigfoot. He has contributed the #3 and #27 videos on the FB/FB list.
Matt Moneymaker, founder of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (http://www.BFRO.net) and instrumental in the launch of Animal Planet’s successful series, Finding Bigfoot. Moneymaker and his team of field researchers have renewed the public’s interest in Bigfoot. Matt researches with the most popular researcher of them all, James “Bobo” Faye.
Cliff Barackman, also a member of the Finding Bigfoot research team is widely considered one of the most knowledgeable, respected and academic of all field researchers. Barackman was a key part of the London, Oregon trackway investigation and in debunking the Elbe trackway hoax. Barackman also authenticated and presented the Stacy Brown, #5, at the 2012 FLIR conference in Orlando, Florida.
Paul Hulsey, an Alabama researcher working with Bassett, Green and Tomas, recorded a thermal image of a Bigfoot, known as the “Huge Sasquatch in Alabama,” #19. The size of the creature is now documented. He has also documented forest structures, prints, audio and videos of lesser quality.
Tim Fasano & Kevin Kehl, the duo of researchers found the 2012 north Florida trackway the #11 video of all time. They are interesting and sometimes zealous in their research but their quantity of videos seems to dig up a few Bigfoot gems once in awhile.
Rick Dyer, the ‘bad boy’ of the Bigfoot community for his connection to create a Bigfoot version of the “alien autopsy” in 2008. Rick has continued to do field research surfaced in 2012 with the new “Camper Video” now sitting at #2 behind the Patterson/Gimlin film. Recent reports claim Dyer’s video was also recorded by a British documentary team on September 6, 2012. The full video, when released in 2013, could make a huge contribution to Bigfoot research and possibly confirm his self-proclaimed title: “Greatest Bigfoot tracker in the world.”
Stacy Brown Jr, recorded a full-body thermal video of a Bigfoot tree-peeking and running between trees in northern Florida. Brown is methodical in his research and his thermal video was shown publicly for the first time at the FLIR conference in Orlando, Florida. The video ranks at #5 of all time.
Congratulations to all the nominees for the “2012 Bigfoot Field Researcher of the Year.” It’s an honor to make the list and, “It will be a difficult decision for the FB/FB team. Some of these researchers are relatively unknown, while others have reputations that you can’t ignore,” said Jack Barnes, Chief Video Analyst for FB/FB.
